Academy Films production studio together with Associated Television and Blitz Films started the shootings of a new film.
Evil Touch mystery TV series is an international project implemented by professionals from Armenia, USA and Russia. The director of the film is Sergey Sarkisov. The executive producer is David McKenzie.
The set of the story is Armenia. A group of young American students happen to be in a mysterious and dangerous remote village. Having nothing to do but sleeping over in the village soon the group finds out their doubts to be true as the Evil Spirit (Char Vogi) has been imprisoned in the very same village for centuries.
The cast of the film includes Jennifer Veal, Joey Nisivoccia, Carmen Hodgson, Chris Sparks, Mallory Goldberg and Daniel Covin. Armenian actors Alexander Khachatryan, Arsen Grigoryan and many others are also in the cast.
“Evil Touch” is a commercial project intended for American film market. The production of this film will help international filmmakers to discover the potential of the sphere in Armenia as well as to learn about local pricelist, professionals and the locations that Armenia can contribute to international film production.
The shootings which are now taking place in Garni, Dashtadem, Ashtarak and Yerevan will be finished by December 2018.
